My name is Jasmine Medina. I am currently a student at Cal State University of Northridge. CSUN was not my first choice; I did not choose a school based on a major because I was undecided. However I knew CSUN would be a good choice because of its diverse atmosphere and my ambition towards learning about different cultures and personalities. So far I’ve enjoyed my first year and have declared to be phycology major. I have a passion for helping others and truly believe that a healthy mind is the foundation to enjoying life, and living it comfortably. Sometimes people do not realize the positive effect they can make on others by doing the smallest things. This is why my goal is to be able to contribute to society and the well being of others. In my spare time I enjoy watching Nascar. I pretty much grew up in the speedway and am a huge Jimmie Johnson Fan. When school gets difficult, the adrenaline from speed, whether I’m racing or watching others race motivates me to keep moving forward.
